What does a finely-tuned trio of improvers have to do to get noticed out here?

Hailing from California’s central coast, Zombie Skillet’s reason for getting up in the morning is to make our audiences laugh. We just love bringing the funny. Are we professional comedians? Heck no. We are three nerds who like playing improv games, doing scenes, and making stuff up. It’s even better if we are helping you have a good time.

It’s a play on words. We three improvers are all known for our deadpan delivery. Dead pan… zombie skillet. You dig?
We live in sunny San Luis Obispo and thereabouts. We are available to play shows from Paso Robles to Santa Barbara, but if you’re contacting us to play 30 Rock, we’ll pick up the phone.
We met studying at Central Coast Comedy Theater in San Luis Obispo, CA. It was laughs at first sight.
Zombie Skillet shows are high energy and, dare I say, zany. We take lots of suggestions from audience members, so show up ready to shout at us. We play a mixture of short-form games and also do long-form improv. We pride ourselves on putting together upbeat and watchable shows that leave our audiences smiling.

Absolutely! Improv is great, not only because it is fun. In improv classes, you get to meet great people, laugh a lot, and learn some truly wonderful transferable skills for everyday life like listening, thinking on your feet, and speaking in front of an audience. It is also a great way to stay mentally sharp. The performers in Zombie Skillet met at Central Coast Comedy Theater, but we know there are a few other folks teaching improv classes on the central coast. We totally encourage you to take a class!

When we see kids in the audience, we try to lean away from bedroom humor and towards bathroom humor.
